Privacy Policy

This policy explains the baseline data practices for kanzoro, a Discord analytics and moderation product. It is written to describe how the product works today and should not be treated as legal advice.

Information we process

kanzoro may process the following information when you use the product:

Discord identity details such as user ID, username, and avatar.
Discord guild access information needed to show servers you can manage.
OAuth tokens, session records, and login security state.
Guild configuration for moderation rules, filters, alerts, and log settings.
Moderation logs, server event logs, user activity history, and message excerpts.
Analytics rollups such as engagement, audience, channel, voice, and activity trends.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate dashboard access, operate moderation workflows, display server logs, generate analytics, preserve configuration, and help moderators understand what is happening in their Discord community.

AI processing and third parties

kanzoro uses OpenAI as a third-party processor for its AI features. Two features send data outside our own infrastructure:

AutoMod: when a server enables AutoMod, message content is sent to OpenAI's moderation API to check it against the enabled harm categories.
Social listening and sentiment: for servers that opt in, message content and usernames are sent to OpenAI to produce sentiment scores, topic summaries, and community insights. This feature is off until a server admin turns it on.

In both cases content is processed under OpenAI's API terms to return a result to kanzoro. We do not sell this data or share it with any other third party.

Retention

Message excerpts, moderation logs, and server event logs are retained while kanzoro is in your server so that moderation history, audits, and analytics keep working. Sentiment and social listening results are stored as scores and aggregates. OAuth tokens and sessions last until you log out or revoke access. If kanzoro is removed from a server, we stop collecting new data for it, and a server admin can request deletion of the server's stored data using the contact below.

Discord connection

kanzoro relies on Discord OAuth and Discord APIs. Discord controls its own platform, permissions, and data practices. Removing kanzoro from a server or revoking OAuth access can limit future access to Discord data, but historical product records may remain where needed for moderation, audit, security, or operational purposes.

Data handling

Product data lives in the authenticated app environment, not this public website, except for the content sent to OpenAI as described above. The public website links visitors to the product login flow through the Get Started route.

Your rights

You can ask us what data kanzoro holds about you or your server, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to a specific use. Email the contact below and we will respond. Server admins can also stop all collection for a server at any time by removing kanzoro from it.

Updates

This policy may be updated as kanzoro changes. Continued use of the product after an update means the current policy applies to your use.
